Joe Grandee

Biography

A third generation Texan, born in Dallas, Joe Grandee became a noted sculptor, illustrator, and painter of western subjects. In 1974, a one-man retrospective of his work was held at the U.S. Capitol, and he has been appointed the official state artist of Texas by the Texas Legislature.

Grandee’s work is exhibited at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
