Anna Bell Stone

Biography
Anna B. Stone was renowned for her floral subjects executed in both a realistic and Modernist style. Born in Dewitt, Iowa, Stone lived most of her adult life in Seattle. She studied at the Boston School of Art, Scripts College in Claremont, California, and the University of Washington. Besides being a Founder of the Women Painters of Washington, she was also an active member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and the National League of American Penwomen.
